Phenomenon will showcase 10 psychics and mentalists performing their acts for panelists Criss Angel (magician/illusionist) and Uri Geller (mentalist) with celebrity guests assisting in the performances. The show will span five weeks and includes a live 2-hour edition on Halloween night.

 

With fairly limited resources, Morgan was able to design the striking lighting effects with both Falcon 3Ks and Highend Showguns supplied by VER. “Both units give unique powerful beams that will be part of the show’s dramatic and signature look,” explains Morgan.  PRG supplied the VL 3000 spot, VL2000 wash, VL5arc & 60 of the newly refurbished VL6c’s.

 

Artist/Animator Michael Zinman created original content for the 9' x 16' LED screen on the center stage; it was delivered to the screen through an M-Box media server.

 

Viewers are faced with challenge of figuring out how the show's performers accomplish their tricks and whether any of the mentalists might have actual psychic talent. They will vote on which acts win each round, with celebrity guests assisting in the performances. The show will also include online forums and interactive games aimed at increasing viewer participation.

 

Phenomenon is executive produced by Suzy Lamb ("Grease: You're the One That I Want") and by Michael Agbabian and Dwight Smith, both executive producers on NBC's "Hit Me Baby One More Time.”
