Including Hello Dolly in early 2006, Kim frequently lights stage productions in and around the L.A. area. Other recent Downey Civic productions include Oklahoma and Oliver, also Seussical The Musical at The Lewis Family Playhouse in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
The Downey Civic Theatre is a 738-seat live stage theatre owned and operated by the City of Downey, CA and administered by the Department of Community Services. The Theatre opened on June 11, 1970 and plays host to a variety of events throughout the year including an annual series of Broadway musicals by the Downey Civic Light Opera.
