Greg tried to introduce some new elements to the set that was re-used this year at the opulent and historic Orpheum Theatre. The walls and columns of the set were skinned in white fabric and he lighted them all with LED fixtures: Color Kinetics Color Blaze strip, Color Blasts and iColor Cove. There was extensive use of Clay-Paky's new Alpha Spot 1200 and Alpha Profile 1200 to achieve graphics and set looks not usually seen. The color produced by these instruments was vibrant and distinctive. Since it was a 2-hour show, with many rousing gospel performances, he constructed a cross of VL6 profile lights that flew in and revealed to great effect. Brunton states, “It's a big show! 14 numbers, with solos and ensemble performances, that taxes your resources and ingenuity to create a variety of looks and moods." Additionally, extensive use of LED panels in the set required that he work closely with media designer Eli McKinney to co-ordinate the settings for each song.
